Hail Mary,
o source of life
In rebuilding salvation, Who have shaken death
And trodden down the serpent To which Eve reached up,
Her neck high
With the breath of pride.
You have trampled down that serpent
In giving birth to God's son from heaven.
Whom the spirit of God Breathed into you.
Hail, o dearest and most loving mother, Who have given to the world
Your son sent from heaven,
Whom the spirit of God Breathed into you.
Glory to the Father and the son And the Holy Spirit,
Whom the spirit of God Breathed into you.

The sun, with little glow;
Has paled in the presence of the living Son And Love's prophet of preparation
In their mothers' wombs of welcome.

Hand on breast Hand on womb
Touch the birth of mystery
The mystical birth of all who ask Love to them set free.
They bridge the state of death
And lead us into real and perfect radiance.
o women most wondrous and yet most humble, Receive the ageless Light of Life.
Hear the music of compassion.
Sing the song of joy and praise
For your only sons begotten;
The gifts of God
Who chooses us to save. Resound it through the ions
Of earth's response and praise.
With thee we play the melody Of Magnificat. ..

Scripture reading:
Luke: 1: 46-55 (African Bible)
'Mary said,
"My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; My spirit rejoices in God my saviour.
For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; Behold form now on will all ages call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, And holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age To those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm,
Dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones But lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things; The rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, Remembering his mercy,
According to the promise to our fathers,
To Abraham and to his descendants forever."

The cloudy sky holds the small and paled sun that seems to have lost effect as it sits in its small sky corner. We feel the intensity of Light acknowledge the bridging touch between the two holy women chosen to announce and to give birth to the new Sun. The Spirit of Presence will create for us the Mystical Body of Christ in us and among us. The eyes of Faith are wide with the wonder of God's mercy. They look upon their new worlds with awe,
reverence, grace and a sense of overwhelming responsibility. The responsibility of an enduring 'Yes' to all that will befall them and us in the journey of redemption. The simple goose, symbol of all creation leans towards and celebrates with the women of hope. Fish swim in the waters of baptism. The Angel of Light and Grace flutes for us the music of great peace and joy:
God is with us. God dwells in the ordinary and imperfect homes of our human hearts. We rejoice ...

For the God who loves us so completely, For the wonder of our new life
For the Great One's compassion for our human journey.

Closing music:
